Montana Rodeo
Montana Rodeo
Rodeo has been a part of Montana’s culture since the first cowboys arrived over 150 years ago. Enjoy authentic Montana rodeo every Thursday night at Columbia Falls own Blue Moon Saloon. At 7pm the bleachers start to fill up with Montana’s rodeo fans that come to cheer on their favorite cowgirls and cowboys as they attempt to beat the bull to the buzzer, wrestle steers to the ground and rope calves, among all the other rodeo favorites. Rodeo vets will appreciate all of the events including bull riding, bronc riding, chute dogging, roping, barrel racing, and steer riding. This is Montana’s longest running series open rodeo. A local must do, great people watching (tourist love to get that Kevin Costner Yellowstone appeal) all in a great small town feel!
Summer Thursday’s gates open at 5pm, rodeo starts at 7pm, ends at dark. Saloon is open 12noon – 2am daily.
